Transportation emergency? We got you!

Our Rescue Ride Program is our guarantee that you will have a ride available on days when you commute without a personal vehicle.

If you have a transportation emergency that aligns with one of our six qualifying scenarios, we will cover the cost of your Rescue Ride up to $75.00. These six qualifying emergencies apply to all of our membership categories.

Sudden illness at work

Unexpected mandatory overtime

Unexpected family emergency

Carpool or vanpool falls through

Bike breaks down or is stolen

Significant bus delay (>15 mins)

RESCUE RIDE FOR INDIVIDUALS

Rescue Ride STANDARD

FOR STANDARD MEMBERS:

An Emergency Happens - A qualifying transportation emergency prevents you from completing your trip.
Request a Ride - Use ANY Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, taxi, etc.) or public transportation service to get to your destination safely.
Save Your Receipt - Keep your ride receipt or other proof of payment to claim reimbursement.
Submit Your Claim - Complete the GO ITHACA Rescue Ride Reimbursement Form and attach a photo of your ride receipt.
Fill Out the Feedback Form - Once your Claim is approved, fill out the feedback form so we can continue to improve our Rescue Ride Program for other STANDARD Members.

Rescue Ride EASY ACCESS

FOR EASY ACCESS MEMBERS:

An Emergency Happens - A qualifying transportation emergency prevents you from completing your trip.
Request a Ride - Dial 2-1-1 to request an Uber voucher code.
Check Your Email - Check your email for your Uber voucher code.
Use Code for Uber Ride - Enter your code in the Uber app on your Smartphone to receive your ride.
Fill Out the Feedback Form - Once you arrive to your destination safely, fill out the feedback form so we can continue to improve our Rescue Ride Program for other EASY ACCESS Members.
