STEPS TO BECOMING A MEMBER

Fill out our Membership Interest Form and hit 'submit!' A GO ITHACA staff member will reach out to you to invite you to book an appointment with us.
Book a virtual Membership Registration Appointment (MRA) with a GO ITHACA staff member so that we can learn about your commuting needs and complete your membership registration. Expect a response time of no longer than 5 business days.
Make a Individualized Commuter Plan (ICP) with your designated GO ITHACA staff member for receiving your benefits and checking in with us throughout the year so that we can continue supporting your mobility needs.

GO ITHACA's STANDARD Membership is available to any individual who regularly commutes through any part of Tompkins County at least 4x a week. Whether you are seeking to save money on your commutes, cut down on your fossil fuel emissions, or just change up your transportation options, our STANDARD Membership may be the perfect choice for you!

FOR INCOME-ELIGIBLE COMMUTERS

For some of us, transportation - even at reduced cost - can be harder for some than others to access.

GO ITHACA has been recognized as a national pioneer in offering ADDITIONAL transportation benefits to commuters with modest incomes. Our EASY ACCESS (EA) Membership provides EXTRA support to commuters whose yearly incomes are at or below 150% of the US Federal Poverty Line.

Calculating eligibility for EASY ACCESS Membership:

A household of 1 individual making $23,940 or less will qualify for EASY ACCESS Membership. For every additional household member, add an additional $5,680. Households at this amount or less will qualify for EASY ACCESS Membership.

Example: A household of 3 individuals making $35,300 or less ($23,940 + $5,680 + $5,680) will qualify for our EASY ACCESS Membership.
